BGE to issue $170 credit with September bills

By Aaron Cahall
Examiner Staff Writer 9/4/08

BALTIMOREBaltimore Gas and Electric Co. customers will see a $170 credit on their September bills, the utility said Thursday. The credits to BGE’s 1.1 million customers are part of a $187 million settlement the state and BGE parent Constellation Energy Group reached earlier this year. The credit will show up as an outstanding balance, with any remaining credit carried over to the next month’s electric bill, BGE spokeswoman Linda Foy said.
